TriStar Centennial Medical Center is pleased to welcome Dr. Robert J. Otto, orthopedic surgeon, to Southern Joint Replacement Institute (SJRI).
Dr. Otto will perform anterior hip replacement, primary hip replacement and revision hip replacement, partial knee replacement, primary total knee and revision knee replacement and fracture care as the newest member of the SJRI practice.
“We’re delighted about the addition of Dr. Otto to our medical staff,” said Dr. Michael J. Christie, orthopedic surgeon, SJRI. “Dr. Otto is a former fellow who trained with us at SJRI in 2013 and 2014. He brings a wealth of knowledge and an unwavering commitment to providing excellent orthopedic care to his patients. He will be essential to our team as we meet the growing need for dedicated joint replacement surgeons in our community.”
Dr. Otto received his medical training from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine, and completed a one-year fellowship with SJRI Adult Reconstruction in 2013-2014. Dr. Otto also holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO.
Before joining SJRI, Dr. Otto practiced at Premier Care Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Saint Louis, Mo., as an orthopedic surgeon. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Medical Association.
